This course is set at Level 7 (Masters) in the national Framework for Higher Education Qualifications.

Course learning outcomes

Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of engaging, forming a therapeutic relationship, assessing, formulating and goal setting with adults with complex mental health difficulties

Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of and autonomy in risk assessment and management

Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding, critical awareness of and an ability to apply in practice the concepts of cultural competency, intersectionality and professional practice

Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding, critical awareness of and an ability to apply in practice the knowledge and concepts underpinning the application of the principles of Recovery and Care Planning in clinical practice

Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding, critical awareness of and an ability to apply in practice the 鈥淕oals programme鈥, Psycho education, Guided self help for Bulimia and Binge Eating and interventions to manage emotions, self worth and confidence
