This module aims to provide theoretical and contextual underpinning and context on which to scaffold learning in future modules.
Module learning outcomes
Demonstrate a critical understanding of the core purpose of supervision, and the differences between clinical supervision, case management and clinical governance.
Demonstrate a critical understanding of the Core Competency framework for supervision (Roth & Pilling, 2007)
Demonstrate a critical understanding of the core components of supervision and their evidence-base
Demonstrate a critical understanding of the use of outcomes data as part of routine supervision in MHSTs.
