Students will gain in depth knowledge and understanding of the working with the wider system around the YP, psycho education for parents and carers and manualised parenting interventions.

Students will gain in depth knowledge and understanding of the working with the wider system around the YP, psycho education for parents and carers and manualised parenting interventions.

Module learning outcomes

Demonstrate a systematic understanding, critical awareness and the ability to help parents/carers develop skills and knowledge to manage common problems in cyp.

Demonstrate a systematic understanding, critical awareness and the ability to co-work with local communities, local community organization leaders and local children, families and young people to provide an offer of assessment and possible treatment for children and young people who may have emerging mental health difficulties.

Demonstrate a systematic understanding, critical awareness and the ability to train others in psychoeducation, manualised treatment strategies.
