Module Outline
Students will gain knowledge of the structure and role of local mental health services for CYP in the NHS, local authority and third sectors. They will also gain knowledge in barriers to accessing mental health services.

Students will gain knowledge of the structure and role of local mental health services for CYP in the NHS, local authority and third sectors. They will also gain knowledge in barriers to accessing mental health services.
Module learning outcomes
Demonstrate a systematic understanding, critical awareness and the ability to operate effectively in an inclusive value driven CYP mental health and community context.
Demonstrate a systematic understanding and critical awareness of existing expertise in CYP mental health and community settings.
Demonstrate a systematic understanding and critical awareness of patterns of access to CAMHS by populations with diverse heritage.
Demonstrate a systematic understanding and critical awareness of the range of voluntary sector organizations and civic institutions that communities use, especially those that access populations that access CAMHS less.
