Module Outline

The module will cover:
Developing psychoeducation workshops, Multi-agency meetings: effective preparation; collaborative approaches, Identifying, collating & reporting meaningful markers of outcome, Meaningful service-user participation/co-production, Multi-agency meetings: effective preparation; collaborative approaches, Developing competence in managing and prioritising care across a caseload.

Module learning outcomes

Demonstrate a critical awareness of the Education Mental Health Practitioner’s role within multi-agency meetings regarding a young person’s mental health difficulties, and associated competence in preparing for and participating in meetings in a collaborative, ethical and professional manner.

Demonstrate critical awareness and competence in identifying, collating and reporting meaningful outcomes for a range of mental health interventions delivered in educational settings.

Demonstrate a critical awareness of the concept of service-user participation and co-production, and associated competence in engaging young people, their families and/or education staff in participation and co-production around mental health projects or interventions in educational settings.

Demonstrate competence in managing and prioritising care across a caseload, under close supervision.
