Students will gain knowledge in including the wider system around CYP in formulations,
Psychoeducation to teachers & families, Planning, preparing & delivering groups; parent/carer group
interventions for anxiety, worry, exam stress, sleep problems, behaviour problems & self-harm.
Module learning outcomes
Demonstrate knowledge and competence in developing psychologically-informed formulations of young people’s mental health difficulties which include the wider system around the young person.
Demonstrate knowledge and competence in developing and delivering psychoeducation workshops, or groups to families, or peer support as an intervention.
Demonstrate a critical awareness in the delivery of psychoeducation workshops, or groups to families, or peer support as an intervention.
