Module Outline
The Psychology Professional Placement Year provides students with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience within professional work settings. Students apply theoretical knowledge from their first two years of study to work environments, bridging the gap between academic learning and practical application. The placement allows students to develop key skills such as communication, problem-solving, and teamwork, whilst also receiving specialised training relevant to their specific placements. The placement year enhances employability, offering experience in paid work whilst fostering personal and professional growth through self-reflection and skill development in preparation for future careers in psychology or related fields.
