Module Outline
In this module you will learn the foundations of learning to work in partnership with people with serious mental health difficulties, their families and members of a multi-disciplinary team. It will comprise care planning with people with serious mental health difficulties and their families within a multi-disciplinary team along with the use of IT systems and supervision.

In this module you will learn the foundations of learning to work in partnership with people with serious mental health difficulties, their families and members of a multi-disciplinary team. It will comprise care planning with people with serious mental health difficulties and their families within a multi-disciplinary team along with the use of IT systems and supervision.
Module learning outcomes
Demonstrate a systematic understanding of and competence in concepts underpinning the benefits, barriers and purpose of working in partnership.
Demonstrate a systematic understanding of and competence in concepts underpinning good mental health care, responsibilities inherent to practice and the roles of the practitioners in a mental health care setting.
Demonstrate a systematic understanding of and competence in the ethical responsibilities of the practitioner and an awareness of power, advocacy, planning care, CPA and collaborative working.
Demonstrate a systematic understanding of and competence in reflexive practice and clinical supervision.
